The ninth edition of the Villa Aperta Festival at Villa Medici in Rome takes place between Thursday the 13th and Saturday the 15th June 2019. Since 2010, the Villa Aperta festival aims to promote dialogue between the centuries-old French Academy in Rome – Villa Medici and the best from the international music scene. The solemnity of the Renaissance palace and the heavenly tranquility of the Mediterranean gardens contrast with the artistic energy of the musicians, transcending eras and creating a unique and endearing atmosphere. The 9th edition of the festival promises to be a total and unforgettable aesthetic experience. The program line-up is as followed:
Thursday 13th June: The Pirouettes + Intermezzo of Miguel Bonnefoy and Lorenzo Bruschini + Juliette Armanet (free entry) //
